Context

An e-commerce shop for tech gadgets, aimed specifically at Swiss customers — short delivery routes, a curated range, local payment options.

Problem

International gadget shops shipped slowly and impersonally to Switzerland. The bet: a locally positioned shop with good marketing beats the giants in a niche.

Result

The bet paid off at first: revenue in the four-figure range per month (order of magnitude — exact numbers to follow once cleared). Then two things came together: disrupted supply chains — and internal conflict over roles and direction.

Learnings & status

The project was stopped — and stands here prominently anyway. Because that is exactly the point of this archive: a working business model is no protection against failure when external shocks meet unresolved internal structures. The key consequence: responsibilities and expectations are clarified before the start now, not during it.
