Privacy Policy
This website deliberately avoids cookies, trackers and ad networks. The following sets out transparently which data arises during use and how it is handled — under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, for visitors from the EU, the GDPR.

2. Principle: no cookies, no profiles
This website sets no cookies, no cross-site tracking and no advertising or social-media pixels. No personal usage profiles are built, and no data is sold or passed to ad networks.
3. Hosting & delivery
The website is delivered as a static site via Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc.). On access, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data as a processor (including IP address, time, requested resource, referrer, browser/device details) to deliver the site securely and performantly and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure, functional operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / Art. 31 revFADP). Cloudflare may also process data on servers outside Switzerland and the EU; appropriate contractual safeguards are in place (including EU standard contractual clauses).
4. Server log files
To ensure operation and security, anonymised or shortened access data (log files) may be stored briefly. This data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after a short time.
5. Reach measurement (cookieless)
Where a visitor statistic is used, it runs via Cloudflare Web Analytics — entirely cookieless and without fingerprinting. Only aggregated figures are recorded (e.g. page views, approximate region of origin, referrer); no individuals are recognised and no personal profiles are built.
6. Contact
If you contact me by email, your details (name, email address, content) are used solely to handle your enquiry and are not passed on without your consent. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no legal retention obligations apply.
7. External links & embedded content
This website links to external offerings (including project websites). Their operators are
responsible for their content and privacy. The unlinked, private memory page
/marriage loads maps as self-hosted images; a video embedded there only loads
from YouTube (in “no-cookie” mode) after an active click. Before the click, no data is
transmitted to YouTube.
8. Your rights
Within the limits of the applicable law you have the right to information about the data processed about you, as well as to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and — where applicable — data portability. To exercise these, contact the address above informally.
9. Right to complain
In Switzerland you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Visitors from the EU additionally have the right to complain to their competent data protection supervisory authority.
10. Currency & changes
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place. This policy is adapted when technology or the legal situation changes.
